Chicken fried rice is a popular dish in Chinese restaurants and fast food corners. It is an excellent recipe to make at home. Since we are worried about the hygiene of the outside food, it is better to prepare and serve at home.

The Ajinomoto salt is commonly used in Chinese food. Many of us are scared to use it in the foods and also avoid Chinese foods. But Ajinomoto is a salt named ‘MSG’ and we can find it in all processed foods we buy from markets. Daily intake of this salt might cause side effects. But once in a while, it is okay to have it for that traditional Chinese touch.
Nowadays, Chinese food has created its fans all over. The Chinese restaurants in each street and fast food counters in every corner is a proof for this.
Let’s make a Chinese chicken fried rice at home and serve it to the family!

- 2 cups Basmati rice
- 100 gms Beans chopped
- 100 gms Carrots chopped
- 4-5 Spring Onions chopped
- 3 tbsp Pepper powder
- 1 tbsp Soya sauce
- 2 Eggs Prepare plain omlet of these and shred it
- 1/2 kg Boneless chicken cooked & shredded
- 1/4 tbsp Ajinomoto Optional
- 3 tbsp Oil
- Salt as required

- Cook Basmati rice to 3/4th and keep aside (It sis better to take down it to room temperature before use)
- Heat a big pan, add oil.
- Now add chopped beans, carrots and spring onions one by one fry gently for 4-5 minutes.
- Add pepper powder, salt and fry little.
- Now add the 3/4th cooked rice and mix well.
- Add soya sauce and mix
- Now add shredded eggs
- Add shredded chicken.
- Add ajinomoto and fry in low flame for 10-15 minutes.
- Fried rice is now ready to serve.
