Green gram dal (Moong dal) payasam
Instructions
  1. Dry roast moong dal till golden brown and keep aside.
  2. Roast cashew nuts, raisins in ghee and keep aside.
  3. Pressure cook moong dal for 4 whistles, mash it once and keep aside.
  4. Take a pan, add cooked moong dal, jaggery syrup and milk. Let it cook for 3 - 5 minutes.
  5. Add coconut milk, cardamom powder and stir. Bring it to a single boil.
  6. Add ghee roasted cashews and raisins. Serve hot or chilled.
